I'm Back!

Hello again everyone!

I looked at the calender the other day and realized that it is a) Almost JULY! and b) a very long time since I've written. It's about 20 minutes until I leave work (shhh) and I decided to take a mini-break to reconnect with my most likely humor-starved readers.... allllll 6 of you!

First, apologies are in order for my long absence. What in the world could keep me from you? Well, let me sum up in a nutshell.

1. I got a new job in a new city where I know no one, and it's been a little wacky. My position, it seems, is really the job of two people. My branch's boss, however, didn't seem to think that was true. That lead to me, already the new girl, being berated daily and wishing that I had been born a Vulcan. But now corporate is MAKING him split it, so that's better for me. I won't be running to the bathroom to cry daily, and I don't feel guilty for taking a lunch break. Exciting!

2. I got a new puppy! Buster is his name, and despite my mothers continued objections to my adding him to my overlarge family unit (ha!) I'm madly in love with him. Honestly, it's pretty lonely for a 20-something girl in a big-ish apartment in a brand new city all alone, and this little guy (see photo- commence awww's) has really made it easier. Except when he eats his own poop. That's just icky.

3. I've had writers block. Writer's block is a terrible terrible thing, and it affects millions every year. It seems to have broken, thankfully, due to a reduction of stress and the induction of sunlight into my everyday routine.

What's been up with you folks? Huh? I'm going to do my darndest to not go away so long EVER AGAIN! Please forgive me!
